Emergency
During office hours and if appropriate, the Pediatric Group has an emergency line available for non-life threatening emergencies. You can access this service by calling the main number at 410.721.CARE and then pressing "0" . In the event of a true emergency, call 911, speak clearly and provide the emergency operator with the required information. Communicate to the operator your telephone number, address, name, your child's name, date of birth, and how long you will be at the location.
Ask AAMC
If you require additional assistance, Anne Arundel Medical Center's Ask-AAMC Program is available 24 hours a day to provide medical advice and contact the pediatrician on call. You can reach Ask-AAMC at (443) 481-4000.
After Hours Care
On holidays and after regular hours when our office is closed, we always have a physician on call to meet your needs. At such times, call our main number at 410-721-CARE and follow the directions for after hours care or to speak with the physician on call. If your child needs to be seen immediately, there are several options in the Annapolis area for urgent care.
Nighttime Pediatrics & adult care too! is an urgent care facility that has laboratory, x-ray and pharmacy services on the premises. There are three convenient locations, in Annapolis on Generals Highway, in Pasadena on Ritchie Highway, and in the Village at Waugh Chapel in Gambrills. Nighttime Pediatrics is operated by local physicians, some of whom work for the Pediatric Group. For more information, visit www.nighttime.com.
Another choice for urgent care is the Anne Arundel Medical Center Emergency Room also located in Annapolis (443-481-1200). In the case of a severe, life-threatening emergency, please call the fire and rescue service (911) for assistance and transportation to the nearest hospital, where immediate treatment can begin. When you are able, also call our office so that we can actively participate in your child's care.
