Michelle Murphy is a speech-language pathologist who loves working with children. Michelle performs assessments and treats children of all ages who have various forms of communicative disabilities. She develops appropriate objectives for treatment based on each child’s needs, successfully builds personal relationships to promote positive learning and educates parents regarding different treatment strategies.
Michelle graduated from the University of the District of Columbia with a Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology and is Board Certified in Speech Language Pathology. From 1997 to 2000, at Montgomery County Public Schools, Michelle provided treatment for preschoolers, toddlers, and elementary age children with severe communicative disabilities. After that, Michelle joined a private practice in Annapolis specializing in pediatric communication disabilities where she worked with patients from 18 months to 8 years old.
