Medical Assistants

SUMMARY: Medical Assistants are responsible for aiding all providers in ensuring optimal patient care and promoting proper patient flow. Our staff is committed to our patients, providers, and co-workers to provide optimal patient care. As a central part of team-based care, we work together and participate in healthcare delivery to maximize continuity of care for our patients. As team members, our individual work is important, by itself, but it also influences how others are able to perform their jobs as well. Therefore, we want to empower our providers and staff to work to their highest licensure or capabilities. Staff should assist providers so that their responsibilities are centered on patient care, not on clerical, administrative, or ancillary duties that can be performed by other qualified team members. As a team our goal is to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for all of our patients.
